I grew up in a family of dentists, so I knew from early childhood who I wanted to become. Dentistry was part of my life long before it became my profession.
After graduating from medical university I started working as a general dentist. Two years of practice gave me a solid clinical foundation and helped me realize I wanted to approach treatment more comprehensively. That is how orthodontics entered my professional life.
At first it seemed an incredibly complex, even elusive specialty. But the deeper I got into it, the more it captivated me. I liked that in orthodontics it matters to see not a single tooth but the whole system — accounting for the patient's features, function, aesthetics, and planning treatment several steps ahead.
Today I especially enjoy watching a patient's smile gradually change, and with it their confidence. For me it matters not just to straighten teeth, but to understand the causes of the problem and build treatment so the result is functional, aesthetic, and predictable.
In my work I value an individual approach, attention to detail, and the opportunity to keep growing as a specialist.
